加州迪士尼樂園今天歡渡50歲生日，五十年前成為迪士尼樂園第一位付費遊客的「戴夫麥菲爾森」，回想當年排了一整夜的隊，進了遊樂園之後，連一個遊樂設施都沒玩，只去廁所逛了一圈，就離開的傻事，還是覺得好笑。（夏明珠報導）加州迪士尼樂園在1955年七月十七號開幕，第二天才開放付費入園，那一年，戴夫還是個大學生，他在迪士尼開幕當天，看到電視報導，一時興起，就騎著他的破機車，深夜出發，在凌晨一點，抵達迪士尼樂園，他在售票口排了一個小時之後，才有第二名遊客出現，他排了一整夜，等到迪士尼開園的時候，門口已經排了六千多人，戴夫成了第一個買票進迪士尼樂園的遊客，他的照片登上了當天的長堤電訊報。幾年後，戴夫翻看相簿，看到這張照片的時候，他才發現原來那一天他帶了相機，可是卻忘了拍照。他甚至忘記跟當時在入口歡迎遊客的華德狄斯耐先生要簽名，他說，或許是排隊排了一整夜，腦袋已經不太清醒了。更好笑的是，他因為要趕回學校上課，進了迪士尼樂園，來不及玩，只到廁所逛了一圈，連紀念品都沒買，就離開了。不過他的辛苦還是值得的，他獲得了四人份的迪士尼終生免費入場證，全世界的迪士尼都可以用。他充分利用了這項特權，不過後來他搬離加州之後，使用頻率大為減少，他最近一次前往狄士尼是去年和老婆同遊，戴夫今年已經72歲。
